I recently got a crown for my root canal tooth (I’ve had it uncrowned for like 10ish years) and every dentist then on were always surprised on how good it held up/not cracked.
I always thought about that… like what could I possibly be eating to crack my tooth? The dentist that did the root canal and supplemental filling told me that it lasts forever and that I’ll never need a crown 🤔 But my new dentist was having doubts about that and still recommended that I get a crown. During these uncertain times and my husband being laid off it was a hard decision. But at the end of the day they had offered us free crowns under the stipulation that a new dentist were to do it/they were training that dentist to do it. So in the end I can’t really complain about a free service 😂
I alllssoooo did another job interview. For something different though! My first interview a few months back was me trying to get back into the car title world after being away from it for like 4 years 😂 I don’t know what I was expecting but that company ghosted me. This second one was for an art instructor job up in Redmond. I’m not as concerned or too hung up on it to be honest but if I get it that would be nice.
I will still be writing this and tattooing no matter what 🙂↕️
Lately I’ve been collecting each version of 協奏曲 〜耽美なる血統〜
If you know me irl you would find how much I listen to j-metal/j-rock. Which is maybe an obsession that I’ve held since high school. Apparently JVM Roses Blood Symphony only sells their collab singles at live shows 😭 so you can see my intense FOMO is going crazy with the fact that I can’t have all of them digitally. So far I only have the regular single, Kamijo’s, Seth’s, and Asagi’s version.
My husband keeps saying I listen to Japanese Vampire rock and I reserve myself to that truth. If you like that type of operatic/metal-y/hardcore style I recommend diving into each version and their respective music and bands!
Ya’ll I’ll be frank… I haven’t been reading all that much lately… 😭 So I’ll tell you about books/manga/manwa that I’ve dropped and maybe the reasoning for them. (Most of the books are the very mom smut books rip)
I also tried to do the audio book route since I mainly read on flights but I CANNOTTTT find a book that has a decent story and a good narrator that doesn’t take me out of the story.
ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses and beyond)
I started reading the first book after being recommended to read it a bunch of times. “You like monster romance right so you might like the faerie book” I in fact was bamboozled into thinking Tamlin was a cute little guy but each time I read more about him it made me sad. Lucian however… I really liked. I didn’t necessarily like Feyre as a character which also lead me to not want to continue.
The fan art for this series is so good though!
My favorites are usually from Frostbite.Studios and Charlie Bowater.
I fear a majority of my subbed titles on WEBTOON
I had offloaded WEBTOON to make room for the latest update of Love and Deepspace and have yet to look back.
I just now redownloaded it just to make this list and saw that a majority of my reads have been piling up for 2+ years now 😭 WHICH IS NUTS. A lot of them are still really good but a lot of the plots got out of hand or got lost entirely that I just had to stop.
OR they require me to unlock with coins… which like… don’t even get me started about that system and how they don’t pay their artists/contributors well at all. So I will not be using real money to unlock chapters.
Feathers So Vicious: Court of Ravens (this is the first book)
I can’t even remember what it’s about besides it having copious amounts of sex scenes in it. Not even like the Danielle Steel off the screen type of sex but like raw and out there in the woods kind of stuff. It has a lot of forced scenes and I didn’t like it.
I like fantasy and when I read any type of book I have a clear picture of what I think a character looks like. I saw official art and I didn’t like the way they looked and I had to stop reading after a couple of chapters.
There was also this weird love triangle with a soldier, the king, and the kings weird manipulative ex-girlfriend that keeps trying to make him do grosser things each chapter.
The Darkest Note (first book)
I don’t even know why I have this in my kindle library… I think I was trying to find something to listen to/read while on a flight to SF. I think I got about…. 3 chapters in and didn’t enjoy the story at all.
It was a combination of why is this about high schoolers and why did a bunch of people on goodreads give it anything hire than a 2?? It’s sitting very comfortably at a 3.72.
I didn’t enjoy the characters and everything about it was suuuper 2010’s (the time I personally was in high school). UNFORTUNATELY it was actually too cringe for me. Not even because of the time period it’s kind of replicating but the characters… ALL of them were like adults trying to pretend to be high schoolers and all the things they would be doing is heeelllla cringe.
Lately I’ve been binge watching on TikTok ceramics and pottery videos. I do be into throwing around some clay once in a while 🙂↕️
I really wanna do more pottery! So I live vicariously through people on the internet.

The Garage Studio - My friend Monika!!!
She has classes available for beginners - intermediate students. And I’ve been fighting with myself about joining as a member but I just need to find the time for it.
The studio is located in Beacon Hill and is about a 12ish minute walk from the station! CONVENIENCE PEAK.

He has that ASMR quality to his videos that I just really like watching. Plus I like the clay farming content. Reminds me of when I was a kid digging around and finding wild clay and making pinch pots with them!

I’m incredibly addicted to watching her make stuff for her house 😩 Makes me want a kiln in my… basement??? I wish I had a house so I can have a bunch of art supplies.
I’ve been mainly cooking at home but lately here are some of the recipes I’ve tried to make and places I’ve eaten out at that I recommend!
Recipes
I personally enjoy baking so I like to make a bunch of sweets with hand whipped cream
This with the whipped cream AAAAND freshly cut strawberries (or whatever fruit you wanna put on it)
I like putting mug cakes in larger ramekins so I’m not needing to use a mug but you can totally use a mug 😂
I used to make a plain version with chocolate chips, whipped cream/and or ice cream on top and it was still heeeellla good. If I don’t feel like making a whole thing you can frequently see me making mug cakes.
Cafes/Restaurants/Bars
Donna’s - Capitol Hill
If I’m feeling too lazy to make my own pasta I like to go to Donna’s for a pasta and drinks for a great deal. The vibe is comfy and dark. Exactly how I like it uwu
The Wash - Capitol Hill
Went with some friends the other day before they had to go to a hockey game. I don’t drink often (if at all) but I liked the vibe and my little drink. Reminds me of Arizona and all the little bars we had in Downtown Mesa.
