I did my first tattoo at the new space and it was… stressful 😂 I found out the printer I got was NOT a laser printer. The ink cartridges looked too convincing as toner cartridges… so that means my thermal imager can’t do anything… so I RAN across the street to my leasing office to beg for a carbon print that… also didn’t work with it because the stencil paper I got was way too thin and couldn’t handle it. I think this specific paper is for those portable ones…. soooooo that meant I needed to trace it out onto the stencil paper in order for it to work. I’m still stained blue from the stencil stuff 😂
I went ahead and rushed ordered spirit stencil paper because it worked with the one the thermal imager came with which was great…. but it’s like $50 a pack. Oh and a laser printer. Sigh. And before you ask…. we threw the box away for the printer I have now so it’s just going to be a fake laser printer on my desk for art prints.
I’m working on my event stuff too. I’ve printed out a bunch of little aftercare zines to hand out to people who get tattooed at these events so I’m heeellllla excited! But the workload ahead is very very daunting right now. I HAVE TO LOCK IN RIIIGHT NEOW 😩
ANIME OPENINGS I’ve been trying to hype myself up to making new flash and stuff. I’m still hella burnt out but I’m really trying to get as much out there as I can.
So listening to anime openings have been really helpful 😂
You literally can’t go wrong with the OG Naruto, hxh, shonen, ouran highschool host club openings. I am truly a product of my time…
I’ve been binging anime the past few days.
I’ve started/finished/continued:
The Ogre’s Bride: I know it’s super cliche and everything like hella CEO x y/n BUT I do kind of like that stuff 😂
So I’m a spider, so what?: I finished it but I was skipping a bunch through it. I kind of only really wanted to see more of the spider and less of the humans.
HANA KIMI: I’ve read it AND watched the kdrama so of course I would watch the entire thing in one sitting while waiting for season 2. Now that season 2 is out I need to start up again.
The warrior princess and the barbaric king: I finished season 1 in one day. I do kind of like it but theres a lot of things I kind of don’t like 🤔 I don’t really care about fan service so the amount of boobs and boob grabbing is like meh to me.
The cat and the dragon: I think it’s hella cute. Although I can’t necessarily put it in the background to work or whatever since it’s subbed but very helpful for learning 🙂↕️
After sinking a lot of money on the car and supplies we’ve been trying to eat at home BUT here are some places we’ve tried that are of reasonable pricing.
Cafes/Restaurants/Bars
Donburi Station - Georgetown
Very affordable and they definitely give you a big portion. I had the salmon bowl which I thought was really good. My husband got the spicy stir fried tofu but said it was too saucy. Which then soaked into the rice making it like sauce porridge. I would definitely go back to try more stuff!
Post Pike - Georgetown
It’s a bar and pizza place. Very affordable slices and whole pizzas. I like thin crust pizza so I’m kind of bias towards that for most pizza places. We were very engrossed in the juggling competition they had playing on the TVs.
I’ll be tattooing Mt Baker for a kawaii craft fair on the 1st of august! Hope to see some of yall there uwu if not that’s okay but I’ll be trying to crank out as much lil flash tattoo guys as possible!
