I’ve been prepping pretty hard for my upcoming events that I have finally been able to clear out and organize some bins! WHOO! That means I have a dedicated thing to have all my supplies and decor stuff in. And that means my car won’t be a hella mess with all my shit thrown all over.

Yay no more messy carrrrrrrrrrrr 😩 and I know everything’s in there too.

I’m working very slowly though in terms of decorating the studio and getting all my friends in our little art collective ready for the next open studio thing.

I’m also reaaalllyyy trying hard to get more flash out but I’m like stuck stuck. I have a billion ideas but never like… have the energy to do it either 🤷🏻‍♀️

We’ll see how I feel after my event and stuff.

While I was working on building my IKEA shelf with a diy privacy screen I find myself going back to my old 2000’s playlist or just listening to my daylist.

Which usually has like Vkei and a bunch of 2000’s alt/rock/emo stuff but the names are always kind of funny. Today (9/11) it’s Plaintive Japanese Alternative Friday Afternoon. Like… sure 😂 put that on. I also tend to work in silence too but that’s reserved for when I feel the most manic.

I have once again stayed up reading manhwa…. sooooo much so that my eyes are dry and irritated at me 😂 just so yall know I really enjoy romance villainess type things so I read a lot of the same type of stuff. ALSO only finished things 😂 I hate when a manga/manhwa/manhua go on a hiatus for like a billion years so I let that shit marinate until like 2-3 years pass. That’s how you know I’m always late to the game.

1. Solid 7/10
2. She does go back in time and stuff but it’s like… DIFFERENT. Okay maybe not that different but it’s enough of a shift from like being isekai-ed or super time regression.
Crowning a Spoiled Prince.
1. 6.5/10
2. I like the premise but it was really long… the timing of it was great but I soon found myself kind of skipping through some sections.
The Divorcee’s Dessert Cafe
1. 7.5/10
2. A solid story, still super long and ended with like kids. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The antagonists were trying wayyyy to hard to play mind games.
3. Not an isekai or any regression it was all in real time which I enjoyed.
I Became the Male Lead’s Female Friend
1. I haven’t started reading it yet but the art is nice so we’ll see how I like it.

I started a bunch of anime. Because I feel so creatively stuck I’m catching up on anything I may have missed these past couple of seasons.

Though I am an Inept Villainess
1. I may or may not drop this one. I saw clips on TikTok about this show and was initially interested but things are just feeling meh to me.
2. I’m also only on episode 9 😂 so I was a little more dedicated to something I thought was just meh
Yani Neko
1. I love it and I hate it because of how nasty it is. I can only watch 1 episode per day.
The Ogre’s Bride
1. I really really enjoy revenge and when bad characters get what they deserve so I place this one way above My Happy Marriage. Yuzu (the mc) is sympathetic but eventually has more of a backbone than I initially thought she would have.
A Livid Lady’s Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires
1. Now that is a light novel title. I like it because she is going REALLY REALLY hard on the people that wronged her. Soooooo it feels nice.

I’ve been mainly cooking at home but lately here are some of the recipes I’ve tried to make and places I’ve eaten out at that I recommend!

Recipes

Gyudon- Probably one of the easiest things I can make in less than 30 minutes.
- There is a recipe for just making rice without a rice cooker and for an onsen egg.
- The onsen egg is a little difficult since it requires you to monitor the temperatures but having a jammy ramen egg works great with this too.

Cafes/Restaurants/Bars

Tanhou Yanji BBQ - Chinatown/International District
- If I could go here everyday I would. I love skewers and meat and sweet condensed milk with fried breaaaaaaddddd 😩😩
- You order off of a tablet and things come out pretty quickly.
- You also don’t need to cook anything, everything is precooked in the kitchen and the grill is just so your food stays warm.
